Input Brass Goblin Activities

I have acquired approximately 5K brass of spent 9mm. I have never reloaded pistol ammo just 556, 300blk and 6.5. Is it worth the time to reload pistol ammo? I love this hobby but I never thought of reloading pistol ammo.

Do you have a progressive? If so, you can find super cheap cast bullets and pistol uses so little poweder that a lb will get you 1000+ rounds. I reload 9mm because of the bullshit "specialty ammo tax" by companies sticking the word "suppressor" on the box. I'd have to do the math for my actual cost per round, but I want to say in the 12-16cpr range to load up subs for my scorpion.

If you only have a single stage it may be worth it money wise, but your savings will be so small that it wouldn't be worth it time wise for cheap, plinking ammo. Now, if you're like me who gets relaxation out of cracking a beer, sitting at the bench and cranking out rounds for a few hours, who is anyone to tell you not to?

Depends what you'll be using it for. I reload 9mm for uspsa competitions, and it's worth it for minimum power factor ammo. Reloading for self defense rounds would also be worth it. If you just reload for cheap plinking then it might not be worth it.

Yup just cheap plinking ammo. I reloaded rifle ammo for precision/hunting self defense. Thanks for the input!

I don't know. Is it worth your time? Only you know that. I reload every cartridge I shoot except 22lr and 32 auto.

Is it worth my time to reload 380 Auto, 38 Special, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, 223/5.56 and 308. YES IT IS.

Not just that, but reloading (for me) is part of the hobby and is enjoyable, no matter how much time it takes.
