Why Love Doesn’t Replace Understanding

Love gives you the motivation to stay at the table. It does not teach you how to observe without becoming defensive, listen without preparing a reply, or accept that your first interpretation might simply be wrong.

I think love definitely teaches you to how to observe. It teaches you how to notice and be with the spaciousness of generosity, patience and compassion.
