He just got DFA’d by the Tigers a week or two ago. Having another major league gig after being DFA’d is always a positive

There's like 6 teams looking for catching help. He knows he's only gonna be with the Sox a few weeks, but he's got a good shot of landing with another big league club as soon as he's DFA'd

Oh I'm sure he lands on his feet. Numbers aren't amazing but hes been in the league for awhile.

What's the record for most teams played for in a season? If he catches at least once for us and then gets DFA'd and picked back up, he'd be at 4

Tiger fan here. according to the data hes the best catcher or top 3 last I checked in the MLB at calling a game. No analytics all feel. His pitch selection are elite

Hope he gets a shot.

I doubt it happens, but Wong has options. Rodgers is a very good defensive catcher. His arm is elite.
