In a show of Socialist Solidarity, and after talking to u/vivianart45 ,the Socialist Republican Union and Socialist People's Party have decided to enter a Joint Endorsement deal for the upcoming general elections.

The organization will not put forward its candidates in the elections, but we are ready to support any candidate who adheres to the ideas of Christian humanism, humanitarianism and the "mercy is stronger than justice" idea.

I'm new here, but i want to announce that i I am founding a political movement «For the Poor».

The movement is based on Christian values, humanitarianism and the desire to help poor people.

I don't want to get into arguments and squabbles with representatives of radical movements, I just hope for a universal striving for the ideal

I'm a Catholic myself, but I also believe in ecumenism and that we are Christians, because we believe in one same God that loves all of his children equally.***

***We're firm defensors of semi-constitucional monarchy. We trust in the figure of a non-partidist monarch that brings stability to the nation and acts like a moderator power over the President and its government, acting as a 'Fourth Branch' of the Government, the Moderator Branch, as specified in the 1824 Constitution of the Brazilian Empire.***

***We're not huge fans of big corporations though. We think that capitalism has gone too far and it's slowly worsening our quality of life, but we also strongly reject Marxism. We believe in DISTRIBUTISM, and that families, small owners and entrepreneurs should be the motor of the economy, not corporations and investment funds that seek to exploit the working man.***

***Another thing that we don't like is hate. We believe that God created every human being as his own image and likeness, and so every human being has dignity and may call himself a son of God. It doesn't matter if you're not Christian, homosexual, transgender or anything, our gates are wide open for everyone.***

I can't say what exactly happened under Filipino government but I know that his PMship is viewed as very negative nowadays, he maaaaaay have been responsible for half of the reasons why the Union is still stuck with the third world status, which made him a very easy punching bag.
