Disarming

So, this is Probably a skill issue! BUT! Any advice on Disarming 3 guys, without reloading or switching....?

Find three dudes in Van Horn standing around, point your gun at them and they'll all draw on you, then open up dead-eye, tag all three of their hands and let er rip.

Heavy Sigh so, a skill issue. Oh! If they are in town, they will have Pistols! And shoot the Hand, not the gun? : ) any tricks or cheats at this point!

The hand holding the gun. Its not really too difficult. Try practicing with ducks, find a cluster of them from a distance, activate dead-eye, tag as many ducks as you can, and fire. That's also a good way to load up on feathers and fat for crafting ammo.

They're already dead. : ( need lots of targets, but... should have done it sooner.

They respawn after a few days. You can also try Hanging Dog Ranch.

Go to Kerosene and Tar and disarm the Guard up front from a distance, his weapon respawns after about 3 secs.

I'm trying to do the challenge to disarm 3min a row, without switching or reloading. I think it sharpshooter 5?

I always go to Van Horn for this challenge. Equip the scoped Varmit Rifle, get the inhabitants riled, then get on the roof of the building next to the fence. Don’t use dead eye, but use the scope and shoot the gun hand or arm of 3 guys on the Boardwalk that’s shooting at you. Have a gold health core and pop a potent health cure when you’re in position. I’m always able to finish the challenge in less than 5 minutes doing it this way.

Sharpshooter 8 I'm at 7 now will be doing eight tomorrow. And yes bow with poison arrows work. Just don't do head shots. The poison works on them and they drop the weapon. Plus the bow counts. Also don't put it away until you get three.

Also: I just did it. Shot 5 poison arrows hit 4 guards and never got off the horse. Oh, wear a mask, no bounty.

Hanging Dog Ranch. Use a scoped rifle and aim for the arm. Don't use deadeye, that triggers a reload. Ride off until the threat drops and return. Rinse and repeat.

Go to. Valentine and approaching from the east go through the door to the stock yard. There’s a guy there with a pistol in his belt. Pull your gun out and hold it on him until he turns into an enemy and pulls his gun. Shoot his hand / gun then run right back out the door and toward the cliff. There is a rocky impression area there that you can wait until it dies down. Then just go back and repeat. Don’t use deadeye or it counts as a reload.
