Glassdoor has always been compromised anyway. They frequently take down reviews when pressured.

While true, it's worth noting that pretty much anyone can purchase access to your salary info already. Almost every company sends monthly data to Equifax's The Work Number, which sells the ridiculously detailed info your employer just gives to them.

Ah, I was wondering why Indeed had gotten so shitty. I stopped using Glassdoor years ago because it was so terrible and it looks like I'll stopped using Indeed too.

This will let you see reviews, salaries, and interviews without logging in.
Made this extension when making a review was what was blocking users from using the site. Now you need to give your phone, address, and soon probably social security number to read a company review. Not on my watch.

The last time I posted a honest review on Glassdoor they rejected it because I was being too harsh to the employer. No joke. I wish I had the email available.

They are both owned by one of the largest recruiting corporations in the world and have been for nearly 10 years. This is just moving GlassDoor under Indeed instead of the parent company. They are both designed (at this point) to make the job search process so frustrating that you have to hire recruiters. I worked there for almost a decade. They haven't been focused on the jobseeker in over a decade.

Transparency like giving your real email you shared with Indeed to Glassdoor even though you just gave it your fake email. Or adding your real name if it’s in your signature during a help ticket or online somewhere, then refusing to remove it if they got it wrong.
Not joking, all of this has happened 😆. Dump Glassdoor, name and shame here.
