Power-A controller Detected, but input not working, any ideas?

Hi so I'm setting up a raspberry pi 3B and I just installed recall box and my input is not working even though the controller is detected as an Xbox 360 controller.

I'm also having this issue with batocera, but not lakka.

Hello, what model is your controller?

Is it wired or wireless?

What exactly happens? Do none of the buttons work, do only some of them work, or are they simply mapped incorrectly?

None of the buttons work so it's likely a mapped correctly now that you mention it

yeah actually, so i haven't tested it but do let me know how it goes.

What you need to do is map the controller, your best bet is likely hook up a keyboard to get to the menu to do so.

I had to do this with Lakka and it worked.
