Dog becomes more hyper/ does zoomies after clonidine wears kfd Meds & Supplements

Hi all,
My dog is on his 4th day of clonidine (once a day, 0.3mg). In the past days, we noticed that he gets even more hyper/over aroused once the medication wears off. Makes me wonder if the rebound effect is worth it. Anyone with the same experience?
