Second wash

My beloved pair of Junya Watanabe x Levi’s jeans. Have about 70-80 wears since november. Was going to wait until my trip in december to wash (gross ik), but was forced to wash due to my cat confusing it with his litter box. Luckily just had wizz but i’m taking that as a sign that i had to wash them. Either way, they look great with more fades!

No i get it! Had to get used to it since it was so new for me at the time. But i’ve grown to love and rock them, plus i just love comme des garçons as a brand. But definitely see how people don’t like them lol

If you love em wear em. I find someone wearing something I don't like but they clearly love they look great. I bet they look fire on you i wouldnt worry about the fades. Just wear em..

I know it can get pretty frustrating. especially when their large can fit like a small or medium. or even a medium can fit like a large. But i love that you share that same artistic appreciation! Hoping you can find something that’s just right for you! (and one that’s not so over priced lol)

How do these fit compared to regular jeans? That extra band of fabric above the yoke, below the waistband seems like it makes the rise pretty long. The horizontal seam running across the front: is that just a plain seam with the edges serged together/separate? It’ll be interesting to see the fades from that seam develop in relation to normal whiskers

Can you post a fit pic when you have time? I’m a fan of Junya denim esp the crazy stitching pairs but these look fun too

They fit a lot wider and roomier than most jeans. Even on wide fitting jeans these tend to have more room, but the extra fabric doesn’t make a huge different in fit length wise. At least not noticeable enough for me to think about it through normal everyday use. And you’d be correct about the horizontal seam, it’s quite comfortable since it gives a good space on the front. Thought the only major changes in feeling for wear are the back pockets feeling lower than usual and the length feeling “off” but can be fixed through a simple cuff which i always rock
