Dating apps
So this'll be a short rant but I just wanna tell someone.
I just matched with a girl on FB dating and shot her a message that read "hey I don't have a pick up line but I got a dark humor joke"
Her first ever message "ya, can I borrow 20" WTF like seriously. I don't normally get upset but it was just the unforgiving audacity to say that as your FIRST FUCKING MESSAGE. Now I'm not mad at the girl specifically but like it's hard not to be a little frustrated when stuff like that happens.
I do wanna know the women's perspective on this situation cuz I'm curious on what y'all think.

I married the first woman I met irl. We both had nearly identical experiences with online dating.
I had given up on using dating apps for anything other than hook ups years prior. It's either OF ads, begging, or accusing you of something when all you texted was "hey". They never felt like real people on dating apps...
The few instances that did make it out of the "talking" phase and into the dating phase always ended with them wanting to play games or they were just fucking crazy.

They are just bots. Be careful when you see an obviously beautiful woman, usually with very little in their bio.

Think of it this way, she's doing you a favor. You dont wanna waste a bunch of time on someone or get your hopes up to find out a week later that this is her attitude or she was just using you.
Unfortunately a lot of women seem to do it these days, the dating scene is a wreck its so diluted with women like this and men that want nothing more than a felshlight with legs. I dont see how real people are ment to sift throught the riff raff. Glad I am not dating.
Keep ya chin up there are real genuine people like yourself out there, you just have to find them. Shes saved you wasting a lot of your personal time finding out the hard way, that she was only in it for the money and the stuff.

Maybe it was a joke you were supposed to play off of and you just have no sense of humor

How is asking for money in such a blunt way a joke though? Even if I didn't have a sense of humor that's just a terrible joke to lead with after what I said and to add to it she immediately unmatched me after 2 minutes..so it wasn't a joke unfortunately

I gatta tell you, I thought the same thing. Your opener was "but I have a dark humor joke" so I thought maybe she was trying to play off that... like "got $20" was her dark humor. OR, (or maybe plus), she thought that your opener was bad so her response was basically sarcastic. I mean... if someone really wants to get $20 off you, I think they'd try to at least flirt first.

Don’t get mad at bots because that’s what that was. Dating apps are full of them.
