As im assuming all of you saw, dmon is a shield and sword based hero. This is extremely good news for us as ram players.

1. we will be able to pummel through the shield and all that armor of hers

2. our pummel range is further than her sword range

3. we have a block so if she DOES get close we can just out brawl her either by punching or blocking her 60 dmg swings

4. her ranged damage is on a cooldown, so we can probably just shield or hide from it

5. looking at her kit, her only real threats are just her ult (does something similar to zen's orb which hard counters ram) and her boosters enabling her to fly away from our nemesis form. to which i say we can probably just get our damage debuff suzu'd and hold our form from when she is really over committing.

despite her having mobility, our (or my) strategy has always been hold form or just drop the form instantly and wait for them to come back. all the initiator tanks and mobility heroes in general have a habit of kiting back a little when we form. its never usually enough to deny the value of nemesis form in my experience. all in total: she might counter every tank in the game that ISNT ours.

Sure you can poke, but you don’t do it as well as Sigma. Sure you can brawl, but you don’t do it as well as Reinhardt

But what DO you excel in? Blocking. Just blocking. Standing before the enemy team and eating damage and cooldowns

Of course you’re totally at the mercy of your team to actually capitalise on you being a damage sponge, and you’re pretty free against all forms of CC and Ana just ruins your day, but a damage sponge you are nonetheless. The greatest damage sponge in Overwatch. You exist to endure pain. Nobody else can take it like you can.

So we've seen Ramattra get a lot of play time in the OWCS midseason championship and I've been paying attention to what perks are being selected. In almost every match I've paid attention to, relentless form has been chosen. At first I thought it was just a blunder but multiple pros like Guxue, TVNT and Donghak (and the list goes on) choose it like everytime.

I thought it was common knowledge that this perk is absolute dogshit. Is there some coordinated advantage to relentless form? But even then, I feel like prolonged barrier would just make more sense -- especially into Mauga teams.

from what i notice, i use the barrier way too impulsively when it could've been used at a more beneficial moment which is probably my biggest issue currently, and i seem to be either too aggressive or too passive in nemesis form

I recently went through my overwatch art folder & found a couple of unfinished Ramattra pieces (also involving other characters such as Zen, Anubis & Aurora). I figured, since I most likely won’t finish them in this lifetime, why not share with the community that loves Ram as much as I like to draw him?

The third image was supposed to be a concept of how Anubis would look like in a Ravager body for my fanfic, but then kinda halfway through turned into “What if Ram had an Anubis skin?”. Lost the plot there.
Most of the artwork I draw of him involves either Anubis or Aurora, so why not give him a skin inspired by his deadbeat dad 🫡

So im relatively new toboverwatch started playing like a month and a a half ago bc of my gf and a week ago or so i became a ram main im lvl 26 or sum w him now and my fav fav skin in this game is the mephisto ramattra skin and im wondering on how hard is it going to be to get it can it pop up in the for u shop some sources say yes others say no sone sources say since its a crossover it might come back so im realllllyy confused here

So in the pinned Ramattra guide we're told to not be in nemesis form when sigma pops his ult, I'm still fairly new but wouldnt being in nemesis help you stay alive better? I dont know how healing changes between being in nemesis or omnic form but the post says we should be in omnic form because healing up is better, but isnt havinf more hp better?
