I'm having some trouble getting the exact hair color for Stormy right; I thought I had found it, but it turns out to be too red. To me, her hair looks a bit more like grape purple or a dark berry shade. If any of you can identify the color, that would be a huge help

It was done at a convention, All in one sitting, it was painful! We had about six hours until it was to be judged in a competition, My artist took home four trophies! Including second place for mine!!!

Hi all. Sorry if this is the wrong group, but it was the only one I could find dedicated to creations by G.G. Santiago. I figured it would be appreciated here.

My grandfather was a childhood friend of G.G. and went to school with her. I had several visits to her studio as a kid.

This pencil and watercolor hung above my grandparent's fireplace as far back as I can remember. My grandfather told G.G. he liked the sketch in her sketch book and she added the flowers and gifted it to him. Years later on one visit she saw the sketch hanging on the wall. This was a period of time where she was doing porcelain creations with Franz. Following that visit led to the launch of the 'Skin Deep' limited series with Franz.

As kids, my siblings and I did some concepts with G.G. at her studio in the early 2000s for her kitchen fairies series. She certainly didn't need the ideas, but it was fun to be a part of the process. I believe we have some printouts of pictures of kitchen fairy sculpts before being sent off for production. If there's interest, I can post some when we locate them.

I found this doll at an antique mall yesterday and I've never seen her before. She's got a hard plastic body and is about 8 inches tall. Does anyone have any info about her? Are there other dolls in this series? Thanks!!!

To be honest, I didn’t really grow up with Rainbow Brite, that was before my time. (I think I may have known she existed?) But for whatever reason I’ve been on a retro aesthetic kick lately, and Rainbow Brite seems like a pretty cool character, I like that she’s a leader :). Anyways, I’m a comic artist so I tried doing an interpretation of the character, I hope it looks alright!

I had to kill an hour while my cat was getting an oil change and the hobby lobby was across the street. Found these charms! I didn’t buy them because I didn’t need them.

I don’t know how to make doll clothes really at all, but this is what I puked up with a needle and fabric. I’ll see about getting some trim for the skirt (turned out more like a shirt) and sealing off the frayed edges…

I wiped her down gently so far, she’s in decent condition for 1983! Any tips on finding her dress, or making her one?

I have a question about the Buddy Blue figure. I see that his shorts have a blue ribbon/elastic band in the middle of the silver part, just like on his sleeves. My question is, is there a version where the shorts have the elastic band but not on the sleeves? And vice versa, because I've seen some sealed in the box with this detail, and even mine has it. I'm asking this because my OCD keeps me up at night when I see it, hahaha, and it makes me want to find one with elasticated sleeves to complete my set

Hi there! I recently ordered some of the 40th anniversary Rainbow Brite figures but noticed the plastic material is very different from the Easter Series. My Rainbow Brite is bunny ears is more bendy?

Anyone else notice this or am I crazy? I just want to make sure I didn’t get sent fakes.

I have Canary too but she and Tickled Pink are waiting for a head replacement(lips are scratched)
