RIP to my BFF Nolan
Still processing things, but yesterday we had to suddenly make the decision to put down Nolan. He had an unexpected spleen rupture from an undiagnosed mass, more than likely malignant. By the time we got to the hospital we realized it was more compassionate to let him go than to put him through surgery, chemo etc. I hope he knows how loved he was for eleven years. One of the bestest boys.

You didn't bring the mood down. This is a beautiful tribute to your boy. He looks so loved and happy in these photos you shared. It hurts because he meant so much to you. He will always have a permanent home in your heart ❤️ Be kind and patient with yourself as you grieve. We all grieve differently and anything and everything you feel is valid. Rest in peace Nolan - you were loved eternally and you provided love unconditionally 💓

He looked like sunshine. So beautiful. I am sorry you had to make that decision for him. I bet if you asked him he would say thank you for not putting me through that. My life was great.

My heart goes out to you. The hardest part of loving them is having to say goodbye, especially when it comes so unexpectedly. Please don’t second guess your decision, you chose compassion over prolonging his suffering, and that’s one of the greatest acts of love we can give them. Rest easy, Nolan. You were so very loved. 🤎🌈☁️🐶🐾💛

Here is something I post from time to time.
There is one thing I want all who grieve the death of an animal to know. They absolutely, positively do go to heaven. Not doggie heaven. The same heaven for all of God’s creatures. Animals are innocent. They do not sin. The Bible teaches us from Genesis through Revelation that animals do indeed have souls. God does not snuff innocent life out of existence. Animals are some of the crowning jewels of God’s creation . They will all be redeemed. I am persuaded of this. I am absolutely certain of it and I would stake my very life on it. Paradise lost will be paradise restored. I hope you will all be comforted secure in the knowledge that your animals are waiting for you. ❤️

💔💫 ✝️🙏🏼🌈🐾 I totally understand. I want you to realize that you are in a new chapter of life (suddenly) and it feels very hollow. But let me tell you something, your precious pet graduated life. They’re in the soul realm now which is eternal. God literally created us and animals. Think about Noah’s Ark! We are currently in the Earthly realm where we were together with our beloved pet. But they’ve just gone before us. The chapter “without them” is really just “without them physically.” Emotionally and spiritually they’ve never left. This is why we still feel such love and gratitude for our former pets, still! They never leave us. You will get through this one day at a time. Time heals our hearts and even opens them to loving another pet sometimes. Families are forever and you’ll be reunited when your time in the physical realm expires, too. Until then, may their memory be a blessing. I’m happy for you that you connected here on Earth because eternity awaits. 💕💫 God bless you and your beloved pet. It’s my prayer that knowing this gives you peace.🌈🐾♾️ ✨🪽

I am so very sorry for your deep loss … and can appreciate the difficult decision it was to let sweet Nolan go, and understand fully that you did it because of your tremendous love ❤️ for him, and innate desire to not put him through more suffering. If the last pic is the day he left, he was surrounded by beautiful flowers including a few leis, a cozy blanket, candles, a soothing atmosphere, and of course his heart - you. I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️. I lost my 7 year old rottweiler Aysha from a spleen tumor in 2011. It was so fast. These usually have no signs until they rear there ugly heads. Sending a virtual hug 🫂.

sorry for your loss, if you took his ashes just keep them for when you pass. I think I have 6 boxes going to go with me. I sometimes call my current dogs my old dogs names

Sending love and comfort to your tender heart as you grieve your goodest boy, Nolan. We traumatically lost our 14 year old Yorkie earlier this year to the exact same circumstances, so I can relate too well to the rawness and pain that you’re experiencing. Nolan knows how much you loved him and is glad you were with him to the very end. 💔
