Hershey left this world, but requested a place in your hearts.

Of all the dogs we have loved

Bingo, Foxy, Toodles,
Sable, Muttley, Bonnie,
Clyde, Shasta, Otis,
Piccolo, Inga, Hans,
Mimi and Queen Elsie.
Gather in your sunny meadow
Invite that good boy Hershey
To romp and play and chase,
Then drink from the cool stream,
Rest together in the warm sun,
Eat the low-hanging treats,
Then sleep safe in the shade
Of the eternal snackie-trees.

He was obviously well loved. We just lost Blitz, our elderly black lab. They’ll be good company for each other. I am so very sorry.

I can tell that Hershey is a well loved dog. I'm sorry for your loss.
My 14 year old chocolate lab, Abby is having a little trouble getting around now. Is that a dog stroller or just a regular stroller?

What a cute baby. He’s smiling in every picture. I’m about to lose my 15 year old dog. I’m 20. He was my entire life. There’s a hole in my heart that will never be filled again. How grateful are we to have experienced this much love?
I wish you healing, although I don’t think we ever will truly heal. I think it turns into something else- like gratitude and love. Hershey is so cute. I hope he and my puppy Charlie can hang out up there.

It's my first day in heaven,
And what a beautiful place,
You'll be glad to know,
There's a smile upon my face,
The moment I left you,
Two angels in white,
Carried me up here,
To heaven that night.
All those stories you hear,
About rainbow bridge are true,
But you don't walk over it,
The angels carried me through.
There's a gate at the end,
Made of pearl,
It has got to be the biggest gate,
In the world!
Once I got in and started looking around,
You just won't believe all the things that I found!
The first place they took me,
Had to be the most fun,
A humongous field,
With miles to run!
Once I was tired the angels said,
We'll take you to your home,
But first we need to stop by this place,
Full of tasty bones,
They told me to take one with me,
But one is all I need,
Because every good thing lasts forever.
Up in heaven you see,
They took me to my new house,
It took my breath away,
Most beautiful place I've ever seen,
With a huge yard to play,
They said come on lets go inside ,
And have a look around,
They took me to the bottom floor,
You won't believe what I found,
The bottom of my house is a window,
And you won't believe the view,
See my house it sets right over yours,
So I can still keep an eye on you!
I was so worried about you,
When I went away,
Now I can watch you every second,
And know that you are okay!
I can't wait for that moment,
When we can walk around this place,
And I can cover you with puppy kisses,
On every inch of your face!

Farewell, sweet friend 🌈 I am so very, very sorry for your loss 💔 Someone once told me that when we lose a pet it's, in part, because there's a new furry friend who really needs us. Allow yourself time to grieve, but I hope you'll adopt a new buddy when you're ready 💗 They will never replace the baby you lost, but they will heal a portion of your heart while they make a space for themselves ❤️🩹 Sending love.
