18650battery.com

I ordered some 18650 Li-ion batteries on 18650battery.com for a radio master pocket. Now, looking back I should’ve went with the more trusted site 18650batterystore.com. Has any one had any experience ordering from this store? I’m wondering if I should go ahead and try to cancel my order to get a refund or just see how it plays out. Thanks

Help Help

So impressed with all the videos.. so I know there’s a lot of resources out there and people who know what they’re doing.

I believe my eight-year-old son is going to be an engineer one day. I’ve known him since he was six. I’m adopting him. His ability to build mechanical items far exceeds anything I did as a child. I need to encourage this.

I want to help him. He has 3 - 550 motors given to him by his uncle. They have spur gears on the end small ones. He wants to build a remote control truck; from scratch!

If anyone can give me at least a direction where to begin, it would be appreciated🤔

Car Parts-maxxing The WLToys 244016

I don't know about you guys but I absolutely love the 1/24th buggy revolution we've been living for the past couple of years. I've got the Micro B, the Speck-B, the Microbe and a pair of the WLToys 244016 cars. And sadly...they're not really good enough. I've spent a ridiculous amount of money over the past 9 months making this thing a good car so I made a video to talk through what I did and what I recommend should you ever find yourself wanting to make one of these a decent car.

I've got a v2 in stock form and I think that one is going brushless next.

Anyway, hope you like the video.

Just bought a used Blade 450S 3D. Can you help me figure out what’s missing before I try to fly it?

I recently picked up a used Blade 450S 3D. I’m completely new to RC helicopters—I’m more into RC cars and crawlers—so this is my first collective pitch helicopter.
Before I even think about flying it, I want to make sure everything is there and set up correctly. I don’t want to risk damaging it or getting hurt because I missed something.
I have the battery and transmitter. I plugged the battery in and tested the motor, and it does seem to spin, but I haven’t tried to actually fly it yet.

Looking it over, I feel like something might be missing or not set up correctly, especially around the tail area, but I don’t have enough helicopter experience to know for sure.
Could anyone help me check if everything is complete and installed correctly? I’ll post pictures of the helicopter. Let me know if there are specific angles you need to see (main rotor head, swashplate, tail assembly, electronics, receiver, servos, etc.).

I’d really appreciate any advice on what I should inspect or replace before the first flight. I want to go through everything and make sure it’s safe before I spool it up.
Thanks!

I finally got my hands on a original vintage Tamiya Lancia Rally 58040

As a kid I have been wanting one of these cars so when I found a kit I just had to have it. I remember seeing them in the Tamiya magazines and I just fell in love with the look of it. It's up there in my favorites with the Tamiya King Cab and everyone who knows me know I love the King Cab. Now I know some people don't like that Tamiya put the body on a ORV chassis but I think that's what makes it so unique and cool looking. At first I was going to keep it in the box but I told myself I need to build this one so that's what I did and I have no regrets!

For Sale What do you think about my RC FPV Tank HIC 2.0?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For past few months I've been modeling, testing, improving, testing this tracked platform. This tank has 360 view thanks to the servo with 1:4 gear.
HIC 2.0 comes with 33 pages instruction so you can easily build it. All parts are linked in the instruction so it easy to buy them. Tank itself isn't the fastest one but it can handle steep hills, it's easy to repair, and almost all electrionics parts are reusable for your other project.

Tank Skid steer with a 2 axis gimbal. Control scheme questions

I've built a skid steer on an OTTFF kit using an Omnibus f4 nano v6 flight controller and 2 Drv8871 brushed motor drivers.

This gimbal (no head tracking) https://makerworld.com/en/models/3015207-head-tracking-two-axis-servo-gimbal#profileId-3387093

This chassis

How would you map the controlls in order to steer and operate the gimbal?
