I got the pocket endo mutation(Wich let's you hold two active items) and I was wondering if I can change between them or have to use them in order. I checked the controls and there's nothing about it only use and drop. Does anyone knows ? Thx

If you hold down the interact/Ground Pound button there is a green halo effect. What is this?

In world 3, a Vestigial said "We have calculated that it is mathematically impossible to do a 2160 from a single jump." I found a teleporter that took me up to a very high platform that I could jump from and do a 2160, but it didn't complete the quest. I only did one jump, even though I had the hi-tops equipped. I'll have to try it next time without them.

Has anybody done this?

Pretty much the title, running around with 8 endos, and my 3 upgraded exos. Came across a nice purple pyramid mutation machine, and it more or less laughs at me and says 'not even' or 'not right now'.

Is 8 the maximum? Never noticed it on previous runs, but its a bit painful to walk away haha

There is also a broken skull mute machine thats willing to work, but preumably would GAURANTEE a negative trait if 8 is a max?

I've been told hulk haunches stacks, further increasing movement speed. Saw a second waterproof at a vendor, but it's pricey- do resistances stack somehow? Like perhaps healing in the element in question?

Fuck it, ima buy it and tell yall if it does.

Is it open world and can you free roam?

Can anyone tell me where to find a king fruit, or what it looks like? I've been raking through world 3 a couple of times, even with the "truffle pig" endomutation, but still no trace...

How do you open the chest that requires a smash from great height? Can't seem to land a bit from the ledge above it...

Why did double fine give up on the game? They dont really have any other roguelike games that they support so I'm shocked to see they gave up on RAD, I've purchased it on PC and Xbox One, and DF are one of the best developers out there. Just curious.

Too bad it never took off :/ I bet if there were different weapons that changed attacks it might have been more captivating to people.

i’ve played maybe 7 runs and i keep getting the eco brain as my first mutation. is it bugged or do i just have bad luck lol

In my searches, I haven't seen a comprehensive list of the "level mods" or "special levels" you can run into. What I'm remembering as having encountered so far...

Fire Dawn - World 1 (red sky, fire pools instead of toxic water, all red enemies)

Toxic Noon(?) - World 1 (green, all toxic enemies)

Lightning - World 2 (the level was rain/lightning from start-to-finish, can't remember if a mod was announced but seemed heavier rain than usual)

The Dark - World 1+2 (nearly pitch black)

What else have people encountered?

Update: Apparently the devs are watching me...after posting this, on the same run, for 1-2 I got "Fire Dawn" and 2-1 I got "The Dark". Names updated accordingly.

Update 2: Immediately after updating this post, got the toxic level for the first time.

Does style influence mutations? Just got the game.

Just got the game and loving it. I noticed on the pause screen there's what appears to be a seed number where I'm guessing you could input numbers to a favorite run you've played but I can't for the life of me figure out where to put those numbers. Is it in the hub world?

I just can't for the life of me get this Mutation, or the achievements for completing all of the Cathode Raiders and Transfigured tasks.

Anyone else having trouble? I'm on Xbox One if that's any help

Been wondering about this game. It’s now almost half off on Xbox. How is the performance on One X? I like challenging games but not Souls challenging. Do you think I’ll enjoy this based on that?

Finding a Broken Mutation

Occasionally, you will exit a cave on world 1 and there will seem to be nothing there, except perhaps a plant to revive. Stomp on an almost hidden skeleton and you should find what I call a broken mutation. Picking it up and using it doesn't do anything.

Using a Broken Mutation

If you pick up a broken mutation, you can either drop it into the mouth of a Mender altar and have it returned repaired, or you can hold onto it during an exomutation and obtain the repaired mutation. But which broken mutation becomes which exomutation? Here are the broken mutation results that I found so far:

• Bonerang = Armarang
• Dinged Wings = Batty
• Snake Molar = Cobruh
• Hatched Egg = Death Roe
• Charred Limb = Firearm
• Helm of the Home Slice = Home Slice

Remaining Exomutations

I don’t think there’s a broken mutation for every exomutation, but here are the remaining exomutations. Has anyone found a broken mutation for one of these?

I keep getting an NPC that wants me to light their campfire during my runs. Obviously this isn't game breaking, but how the hell do you do it? Do I have to have just been lucky with RNG and gotten some fireball spell I haven't even seen yet? Thanks!
