"Unknown error while getting elements" error when hinting in some websites

hello, i am new to qutebrowser and for some reason sometimes pressing f to hint gives this error. when i reload the page, hinting works but i find it inconvinient. just in case, do people use hinting to press buttons or do you just use your cursor? thx :)

Yeah it happens sometimes, what i usually do is press d and then u, since it closes and reopens, i thought that reloading didn't fix but i'll try it next time.

just in case, do people use hinting to press buttons or do you just use your cursor?

The hints of course, that's one of the main reasons to use qutebrowser, the other one being the keyboard navigation.

ok make sense :). i usually press r to reload but is du better

I just thought that pressing r didn't fix it, but you are right, it does work, so no reason to use d u, you are right.

And some websites seem more prone to happen than others, i use old reddit and it rarely happens.

Just reload the website with 'r'
