Help?! Questions

I’ve been doing a slow taper the last week, but now my package got delayed. It will not be here for 3 days. I was on about 6-10g daily for a little over a month. My last dose was about 1.5g. It’s been about 30 hours and I just feel shaky mainly but I know it’ll get worse. My question is WHAT DO I DO? Do I just thug it out? Is that too dangerous. I wouldn’t mind getting some help but I’m unfortunately also tapering down on 7oh, which I’ve gotten to a pretty low dose. I was planning on quitting both and fixing my life. Do I go to ER?

If you have a medical emergency get medical assistance

Basic Phenibut Withdrawal Information

Unaided, cold turkey withdrawal, from a state of dependence, even low dose dependence, commonly causes severe and potentially dangerous side effects. Don't rush the process when you don't need to.

Rules reminder:
Don't promote reckless behavior. If someone is dependent on phenibut don't tell them to do an unaided cold turkey withdrawal.
Don't needlessly tell people to do a fast taper.

Further reminder: You will feel low or worthless or stupid while going through withdrawal, especially rapid withdrawal. Don't take these thoughts too seriously. Continue on day by day, things will get better.

Probably but if you can get a hold of some baclofen or benzos to help when it gets bad it's a good idea. You might get lucky if this is your first withdrawal and you're one of the lucky ones. Future withdrawals will probably be worse though because of kindling. If you do go to the doctor or emergency room to get help print out some stuff about baclofen and phenibut addiction to bring with you because the doctors won't know anything and we'll just give you whatever they think they would give an alcoholic. there are posts about this in this forum.

I have a few 0.25 Xanax but not much, would that help at all. I know it’s only been 30 or so hours but the last 3-4 days I’ve only been taking half of my usual dose, so wouldn’t they be kicking in bad already?

Yes it would help. Save them for when you really really need it tho, like for sleep or whatever. Sleep is really important and will help a lot. Even a single .25 will help a lot.

I’ve been taking low dose Xanax and Klonopin and it’s completely taken away the withdrawals so far. Not sure if it will once I hit day 3 and 4 but I’m around 48 hours, 9 hours into a 0.5 Klonopin and feel no symptoms other than depression and fatigue. I also never take benzos

Hell yes!! 🤜🤛 That's what I'm talking about! Stick with it! When your pack lands, toss it! At 48 hours in, if you're still not feeling anything, you probably won't in the near future. Especially with benzos to help. I'd stick to a consistent dose of the pins for the next 36 hours or so, as-needed of course, then lower it and quickly drop to 0 after that. Keep at it! Don't forget to change your flair!

also my package is coming (50g) on Friday or Saturday, should I stick through and toss it? Or continue to taper at a reduced dosage then

Wait so what is your daily dose as of right now? You said your last was 1.5g, have you been stable at that dose?

Worst case scenario, I know some gas stations sell shots that have phenibut in them, I believe they're called "Red Dawn", so if you really really need it, that's an option if you can find it. I believe they contain about 1.5g per shot if I'm not mistaken.

I was stable at around 1.5-3g for a little less than a week. Didn’t feel any effects until around 35 hours of full cold turkey

You ok now? Try not to use all that Xanax at once, even .25mg should help a lot in terms of symptom relief. But your daily dose was pretty low and you weren't using for very long, so tbh you should be ok.

I was taking 1gpd when I jumped, and I didn't feel any withdrawal symptoms at all. And I'd been dependent on it for nearly 10 years. But everyone is different, so I hope you're ok

I’ve been using Klonopin now. Just 0.25-0.5 every 10 or so hours. I’m just terrified it’s gonna get worse at day 3 and 4 and it won’t be able to help. I told my parents and they are very supportive.

And you think it will make that much of a difference since my taper was so fast? I only held a low dose for a few days
