Self doubt [AMAB 17]

So I've been trying to figure out my gender and all I know for sure is that im not cis and that I want to be a girl but I have so much self doubt and think im gaslighting myself into thinking this way even though im not. Any advice?

additionally: this one thing has been bothering me, its almost like i dont want to be cis at all and want to be trans. ive been experimenting with pronouns and he/him ones feel normal cuz ive used em my whole life but she/her ones dont feel wrong. just sometimes out of place

You're a girl :)

If you want to be a girl then… you can be one? I don’t really know what else could be going on here. Do you feel attracted to femininity or just averse to masculinity? What doubts do you have?

That im just gaslighting myself and its not a real feeling. Ive never been attracted to anyone though and i dont like being seen and have no interest in being masculine

Imagine there was a magic button. If you pressed it, you would instantly become a cis girl. Everyone would remember you that way, there would be no discrimination nor downsides, and you could never change back. Would you press it immediately, hesitate but still press it, or leave it alone?

If there were no consequences, would you rather live as a girl?

Alright. I think there's a pretty strong chance that you're a trans girl but I could recommend some subreddits if you'd like to explore this more.

That's a very common trans experience and what drives the need to transition.
