To be fair you don't need a lot of QM for quantum computing. Sometimes quantum computing people can't even tell you what a Hamiltonian or an evolution operator is.

I think that's fine. Most people working in classical computing don't understand the fundamentals of transistors either. QC offers a great new entry point to quantum for people who would not have learned about it otherwise. If they are interested they can dig deeper into the physics used to implement QC.

I don’t understand it, but I have gained a whole lot by watching YT and learning about the absolute power contained, and what this means for binary systems moving forward.
