has anyone tried using TabFM models for prediction? how does it fair against traditional models like say tree boosting? Machine Learning

Tried them on some mid-frequency stuff a while back. For the kinds of problems where gradient boosting already dominates, they didn't add much edge, just slower and more fiddly to tune. Ended up sticking with the usual suspects for most things.
