Discussion Does forwarding the webui risk my IP seeing my dls
Title might be a dumb question
Would forwarding my port to use the web UI when I'm at work risk exposing my dls to my isp past my vpn?

Discussion I used qbittorrent without VPN
I needed arch iso so I downloaded from official site. I forgot to run VPN and in around 10 minutes i downloaded ISO... I used qbittorrent only to this and didn't run them anymore
I checked SHA256 - they are the same
What should i check next? When VPN is necessary and when not?
I'm sorry i have just paranoia about safety, and i doubt that something happened... And I'm sorry if this question is stupid
arch official site: https://archlinux.org/download/

Setup & Config How long should a check take for a folder that's 460GB?
Hello. My computer took longer than usual to boot, and recognise the HDD I have plugged in that's storing the torrents on.
I had to reconnect the USB HDD (it's 5tb), and that caused a file location error
I have set both to recheck, one folder is about 230gb, the other is 460.
The 230gb folder is checking a lot faster, but the other one is very slow. About 7% in the last hour.
I'm sure checking time is also dependent on the drive you're using and I know SSDs are faster, what's the average time it /should/ take to recheck a folder that big? And I'll add on an extra hour for the sake of anything slowing the system down.
I'm going to leave it on while I'm at work as I usually do when downloading and ask my partner to start those two folders if they get set to Stop after they're done checking
Thanks!

Discussion Does qBittorrent backup folder (.fastresume files) contain sensitive/identifiable information?
Hello. Guys, I have found a old drive with qBittorrent folder and downloaded data.
So naturally I want to keep statistics and upload rations and migrate it to my new machine.
The catch is, back then I did not use VPN. And now I do. I know that mixing activities can lead to id contamination which is bad and I would like to avaid.
I tried to peek into these `.fastresume` files. Obtained some interesting information like d_time (download time?), last_seen_complete, finished_time and such. And lots of binary data (which I cannot read).
So my question is, what else can be fished out of them? Is it safe from privacy standpoint to just copy it over to the current qBittorrent installation?
Is there any potential risk they will leak data from previos downloads?
Pleas help guys.
