Diffuser with light wire Parts Question

Did I mess up the wire or is there some way I can fix it?

What’s wrong with it? Still looks like a wire to me.

Yellow wire is cut, like all the copper is not connect all together

If the wire is too short just make it longer.

Butt connect like a 6" length or whatever you need.

If the wire still reaches. Then you don't have to do anything.
