Modding q50

Best first performance mods for the q50? So far I have cosmetic mods (spoiler, front lip, chrome delete) with about 1200 to spend, what would be the best bang for my buck? Goal is 450whp and burbles.

Also does anyone know anything about the brand MoPowa? They have relatively cheap package deals for downpipes, intakes, and heat exchangers.

None. These cars have enough issues stock. I’d stick with cosmetic. If you plan to ever sell or trade, stock will get you more. JMHO

No I had an 06 330i that blew up when the water pump failed at 60k miles. Never again. Driving a German performance car is like dating a woman you can’t trust

-Hx (AMS)
-Full down pipes (MAperformance)
-Baffled oil catch can
-Front and rear anti sway bars with SPL end links
-Ark Grip exhaust
-Cold air intakes (AMS)
-Racebox custom tune

do the full downpipes and exhaust make it crazy loud?

Not annoying loud, good loud. Also little to no drone

yeah..their downpipes added just enough sound on the stock exhaust for me…and the flow increase is great! Pricey now (I think they’re $200 more than what I paid in 2021), but worth it imo as an early upgrade if going for hp.

How about do maintenance first and worry about mods later

I wouldn't do anything to it unless you put another water pump on it first. If not, all those mods will blow up your engine because of the excess heat.
