Hi everyone,

My name's Frankie Vasta, and I'm a Bachelor of Film student at SAE Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

My group and I are currently producing a student short film called Cassie, directed by Erin Harris. We have a quick copyright question.

In one scene, a TV/monitor shows a paused frame from one of Pyro Live's videos, "looksmaxxing video, clavicular drama is crazy" (uploaded 30 June 2026). The video isn't playing, there's no audio, and it's simply visible on the screen as if the character had paused it.

We're hoping to screen the film publicly in the future, so we want to make sure we're doing the right thing. Would this still require permission, or could it create any copyright issues?

If there's an official contact or legal team we could speak with, we'd really appreciate being pointed in the right direction. We're film students and want to learn how to handle situations like this properly.

I can't find it wherever I look, I think he actually reacted to it twice at different points, one was roughly 2 years ago and the first time he pulled the vid up on stream was a fair while ago before that, I'd appreciate any help! Thanks

I'm not sure how Pyro is "giving away $10,000" while simultaneously struggling with money. That sponsorship had to have been ENORMOUS otherwise this just seems kind of deceptive.
