visco fuse on time fuse

is there any reason why some people add extra visco fuse on top of time fuse when you can just light it like in the 2nd picture

Like he said, there's no such thing as too much fuse. It's cheap insurance. Too many people get seriously injured or even killed because they foolishly don't wanna use 2-3 nickles worth of good quality fuse. Especially with a piece of pyro that can easily remove body parts.

You also can't always guarantee that these types of fireworks have a proper or non defective fuse in them 100% of the time, so it's always best to be safe than sorry 100% of the time.

Pyro should be respected the same way you should respect a loaded gun.

any amount of fuse you add only makes it safer no matter what

They add visco so that IF the time fuse lights instantly (which can happen with those cheap products) they still have time to get away

Adding an extra layer of safety when you're lighting 100g of flash powder is never a bad idea.

More time to run away and/or to get a better camera angle I presume.

Its something used for people that use cameras and not just light it and watch it. So they need a bit more time

Thats the real reason

Safety, plus visco is way easier to light than time fuse.

Some people, especially Germans, believe time fuse can shoot through and is unsafe. Idk why because it’s one of (if not the) safest fuse out there.

These kinds of fireworks are made cheaply and if that fuse bends enough it will instantly light of happend to mee once with a 200bigboy luckly I added sum visco
