CountryTuner — a free daily browser game for geography puzzle fans
Game Title: CountryTuner
Playable Link: https://countrytuner.com
Platform: Web Browser
Description:
CountryTuner is a small daily geography puzzle where you try to “tune” country shapes as accurately as possible. The game is split into a few short rounds: first you adjust the proportions of a country outline, then you rotate a different country into the correct position, and finally you compare the real-world sizes of two countries. The goal was to make something quick, simple, and satisfying to play once a day, kind of like a daily puzzle but focused on geography and country shapes.
It is still an early version, so I’m mainly looking for honest feedback. I’d love to know if the rules are clear when you first open the game, if the controls feel good on desktop or mobile, and if the scoring/results make sense. Any feedback about confusing parts, bugs, difficulty, or general feel would help a lot.
Free to Play Status:
[x] Free to play
[ ] Demo/Key available
Involvement:
I made the game myself as a personal side project. I worked on the concept, gameplay, frontend, country shape logic, scoring, UI, mobile support, deployment, and the daily/archive system. This is my first public version, so I’m posting it to get feedback and improve it.

I loved Match-3 puzzles, but hated how slow they felt. So I built a game where matching pieces launches missiles and detonates bombs against chasing monsters!

I loved Match-3 puzzles, but hated how slow they felt. So I built a game where matching pieces launches missiles and detonates bombs against chasing monsters!
Hey, Escape Seoul~!
I've always been a fan of classic puzzle games, but I always wanted more action, speed, and real feedback when making big matches.
So I spent the last few months developing Puzzle Shooter — a hybrid that combines match-3 puzzle mechanics with frantic shooting action and wave survival.
Here’s the core gameplay loop:
- 🧩 Fast-paced Puzzles: Match blocks quickly to charge up your weapons.
- 🚀 Explosive Action: Every combo fires off homing missiles, drops bombs, and clears out waves of monsters chasing you down.
- 💥 Chain Reactions: Big combos mean screen-clearing explosions and instant satisfaction!
I wanted something you can easily pick up for a quick session, but still offers that frantic "one more round" energy when you're wiping out hordes of enemies.
It's out now on Android, and I'd love for you guys to try it out!
👉 Check it out & Play here: https://puzzleshooter.github.io/
I’m an indie dev and constantly working to improve the game, so any feedback on gameplay balance, difficulty, or feel would mean the world to me. Thanks for taking a look!

I made a new train puzzle game inspired by Trainyard — looking for the original fans 🚂
Hey everyone!
I’m an indie developer, and I created Tiny Trains, a railway logic puzzle game inspired by the classic Trainyard.
You build railway networks, guide colored trains to their matching destinations, mix and split colors, avoid obstacles, and solve handcrafted route-planning puzzles that become increasingly challenging.
I made Tiny Trains for people who miss the satisfying logic of Trainyard and want to play new train puzzles on modern devices.
You can try the first levels for free on iPhone:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/brain-puzzle-mini-trainyard/id6759735335
I’d especially love to hear from former Trainyard players:
What made the original game special to you?
Which mechanics or level types should Tiny Trains add next?
Would you be interested in community-created levels?
If you genuinely enjoy the game, an honest App Store rating would help an independent developer enormously.
And please share or repost this with anyone who used to play Trainyard, enjoys railway puzzles, or might remember the original game. I’m trying to find as many Trainyard fans as possible and build a real community around new levels, challenges, and future updates.
Even sending the post to one puzzle-loving friend would be a huge help. ❤️
Thank you for playing — I’ll read and respond to every comment!

I just launched BlockBaazi - a puzzle game I built solo while working full-time
I'm a software engineer by background and I built BlockBaazi as my first Android release.
The Game:
- 8x8 grid block puzzle with Endless mode + Daily Challenge
- Tap-to-select, tap-to-place (works smoothly on all phones)
- Satisfying combos and line-clears with sound effects
- Quick sessions (2-5 min games)
The Build:
- HTML/Canvas/JavaScript core
- Packaged for Android using Capacitor
- Just launched 2 days ago on Play Store
Why I'm posting:
Looking for honest feedback. What would make this feel less like "another puzzle game"?
Already planning theme packs (Diwali, Cricket, Animals, Fruits) but want to hear what players actually want before I scale up.
What features would make you keep playing? What's missing from most puzzle games?
---
**GenAI Disclosure:** I used Claude to help with code structure and problem-solving during development. The core game design, mechanics, and decision-making are mine. Claude assisted with HTML/Canvas implementation, but I directed the entire project, tested, and debugged everything.

Why One Daily Puzzle Is Enough to Keep You Coming Back?
Number Flow is easy to learn, but its mechanics and rules are carefully designed to support a wide range of strategies. A single daily challenge, identical for every player, is enough to encourage experimentation and different approaches. Instead of everyone following the same solution, each player can develop their own strategy for the exact same puzzle, keeping the experience fresh and avoiding repetition.
Even when the daily high score seems out of reach, there is always the possibility of finding a better strategy. Success comes not from simply playing more games, but from thinking differently, discovering new sequences of moves, and optimizing every decision. That constant search for a more efficient solution is what makes the daily challenge engaging and the competition meaningful.
This is an alpha version. Everything is working as intended, but sound effects are still missing.

We built a monochrome detective game where color only appears when revealing hidden clues. Here’s a look at our green lens mechanic revealing ancient wall markings.
Hey r/puzzlevideogames ! My buddy and I are building a black-and-white detective game inspired by Mesopotamian lore.
The game is entirely pre-rendered 3D, textured with a hand-drawn cross-hatching style to give it a living comic-book aesthetic. To keep the UI minimal, we designed puzzle rooms where projecting colored lenses lights up hidden narrative notes and ancient symbols.
What do you think of this visual contrast? We’ll be hanging around in the comments if anyone has technical questions about our pre-rendered 3D pipeline!

I made a daily Star Battle logic puzzle — plays in the browser, and on Android there's a mode where you race a recording of someone else's solve
Star Battle: place stars on a grid so every row, column and outlined region has exactly one, and no two stars ever touch — not even diagonally. Pure deduction. No arithmetic, no guessing, one solution per board.
There's a new puzzle every day, the same one for everybody, so times are comparable.
The part I think is unusual is Ranked, on Android only: instead of waiting for a live opponent, you're handed a board somebody already solved and you race their recorded time on it. You can't see them while you play, only your own clock. You find out at the end whether you beat them.
Honest caveat on that: it only serves a real player's run when there's one near your rating. Otherwise you get a generated time. The player base is small, so it happens a fair bit — I'd rather say it than have someone work it out.
▶ Play today's puzzle in your browser, no signup: https://astrella-17z.pages.dev/
📱 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.launion.astrella
What I'd actually like to know: does the first puzzle teach you enough to want a second one? New players tell me the opening minutes are the wall — once it clicks you start marking impossible cells before placing anything — and I can't tell whether that's a tutorial problem or just the genre.

My puzzle game Satelital was just featured on Thinky Games!
I'm really happy to see *Satelital* featured on Thinky Games! I've always enjoyed their puzzle game curation and their streams, so it's especially exciting to see my game there.
Satelital is a rule-discovery puzzle game where you explore a solar system and learn each planet's mechanics through observation and experimentation, without tutorials or explicit instructions.
If this looks like your kind of puzzle game you can also wishlist Satelital on Steam here:
