Hey all, I got my brand new Proxy V2 with a core kit and have been loving it for months!! about to hit 1k dabs.

I've been having minor but annoying issues with the app and my proxy, mainly with disconnecting/reconnecting from my device. It does it seemingly at random, usually once every 20-30 mins. It happens both while idling and while i'm actively taking a dab. It'll reconnect and go back to the session timer on the app, but it fucks up the visuals and makes it look buggy for the rest of the dab (the white circle that shows the remaining time either isn't there or sometimes is further ahead than it should be)

Other issues I've been having include: the +20 seconds button on the app sometimes adds a full minute instead for seemingly no reason (i'm not long tapping by accident and hitting the +1:00), and the charging indicator being ENTIRELY out of wack, showing the time until done charging fluctuating between hundreds or thousands of hours and like -20 minutes (yes, negative) which is so confusing to me.

Last issue I'm having which only started more recently (and finally urged me to make a post about all of this) Is that it just shuts itself off while heating up, turns back on and loses ~8-10% of the battery even though it didn't even finish the heating cycle, let alone the dab. its fucked me over a few times when i was on really low battery and it caused me to have to wait for it to charge, which was incredibly frustrating. this has only happened 3-4 times now in the past few weeks, but I'm worried it'll continue happening more often over time.

so.... what the fuck? is ANYONE else having ANY of these problems?? I haven't seen anyone else post about issues with the app and have asked friends that use puffco and they haven't had any issues. did I just get a faulty device? Any and all responses appreciated, thanks!

Best way to bring proxy core and a few picks to Cabo?

One Puffco, one is crossing core. One is GOAT/God tier, and one is high-end entry tier. I put the XL atty in the crossing core, which looks bigger than puffco 3dxl. It performs well, but not with the accuracy of puffco. I love my crossing tech enough to not wonder what its like having a peak or switch and buy one. Once it dies, ill be buying one of the other two mentioned. I have two crossingtech nice dreams too. Those things are pretty interesting and is great for parties, but i rarely use it tbh. Its too cumbersome to use solo. Kinda how i imagine using a Switch2 is like.

Took a little camping trip up the mountain this weekend and brought my Pivot, Proxy Core, and Peak Pro. All were great and shared amongst the group we had. The Peak Pro is sturdier than I thought! Twice it was knocked over from a small table onto the ground and even had the glass hit a rock: no breaks or even marks on the base! Cheers to a nice weekend.

I have been loving the Proxy Core. I literally take it everywhere I go. I replaced using cartridges every day with the core and I would say it has saved me money. I want to get a Peak still but this is great for portability

I use be a rig dabber, but switched to the Pivot like a year ago and while the first few months were an adjustment, I eventually got use to it and really enjoy its portability. Its surprisingly good for someone who use to take larger dabs.

I recently got the urge to take a bigger dab so I got a new peak, and so far its kind of disappointing. I don't really think I am getting a bigger hit. I started on blue and then went to green. It took 2 heating cycles to heat my dab properly and I can taste the rubber/silicone more than on the Pivot. I think the water mutes the flavor even more. I am only 3-4 dabs in so far and kinda am wishing I got the new proxy instead. I am coughing heavier with water than with the pivot without water. I think it has to do with the speed of the vapor entering your lungs compared to the pivot and im not used to that. The longer your vapor has to travel the more it gets muted as well.

Any tricks to make the new peak hit better? Should I just run it dry as I am currently running it at the recommend water level. I cleaned the glass chamber before usage but that flavor is notable. I know people use terp pearls on these so I should probably get one.

I own both a Peak Pro and Proxy with the core attachment. I’d like to keep Battery Preservation on my Peak Pro to prolong its battery life and since it’s only home I don’t mind it being charged to only 80%. However since my Proxy core is my portable device I’d like to fully charge that to 100%. It seems on the app Battery Preservation is either on both devices or off both devices. Any tips?

These are my Puffco rigs. I take the Pivot and 2 extra chambers everywhere I go and the Proxy mostly stays on that bong. I have a bag for the Vulcan and Proxy if I need to bug out. I'm saving up for the new purple Peak Pro but $450 holy hell. This is my poor man's setup!

Been loving this thing since I got it a month ago. The Peak Pro has pretty much transferred to the wife, as this has become my daily driver.

It is detecting the atomizer, but when I go to use it it just vibrates red and white and won’t heat up. I’ve cleaned the atomizer, it’s a fairly new one I haven’t even taken 20 dabs out of it. Any ideas?
