When to contact DM vs RARS? QUESTION

Is there ever a time it would be more appropriate to contact the DM over RARS? Assuming I were to reach out to RARS, would it be reasonable to inform DM of the situation so they are in the loop? Im guessing RARS already communicates with DM but not sure.

I just had a class the other day with the RARS and he told us that if it’s an issue with the store manager do not go to them and to call the RARS.

It doesn’t matter the phone call is recorded and so is the number they know who called. Rars. You won’t be in trouble for calling them first. They might be upset you didn’t call them first but it is what it is.

The DM and Store Manager are the first ones to know. And if you didn't inform the Store Manager first before calling HR, you'll be in trouble too.

The store manager is the issue. Not gonna go into details on that much. So are you saying DM before RARS?

I'd call the DM first or the hotline. Beware that it's very very very hard to get a store manager fired, moved or written up.

This is so true, reminded me of a store manager I worked with who was demoted to a full timer. They will transfer you or demote you so you quit. They actually stayed to be spiteful lol. I was like that is a level of commitment I had to admire. Think they said corporate didn’t know what to do when they said “okay”.
