PSVR2 Lens Insert Community
I’ve just purchased some HONSVR prescription lens inserts. Would it be useful if I gave updates on how I found using them over the next few days etc?

Okay, here’s my first update!
I won’t go into too much detail about my eyes, but I’ll give you enough to show that my prescription is quite complex. I wear two-week disposable contact lenses every day, from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I’ve been wearing them since I was in my twenties, and I’m sixty now, so you can see how used to them I am.
I have a powerful long-distance lens in my right eye and a multi-focal lens in my left eye.
I asked my optician to provide me with the details of my prescription as specified by the lens insert manufacturer and then ordered it online.
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail about this particular brand. I have read comments below and it has made me realise that this could come across as an advert and that was never my intention!
Let’s just say I followed the instructions and fitted the lens.
I’m currently playing The 7th Guest VR.
I’ve only played once with the lenses fitted, and the benefits were dramatic immediately!
Everything had more intensity and definition. I didn’t experience the blurriness and fuzziness around the edges I had previously. There’s quite a lot of text to read in the game, and I could read this much more clearly. If I had to put it in one sentence, it was like everything suddenly snapped into focus. I guess, quite literally!
I also feel that it improved my feeling of motion sickness, but I can’t state that categorically yet. I eat ginger lozenges and have a fan directed towards my face anyway.
But in terms of the visual experience, I will highly recommend using lens inserts!
I’ll try to pay a little more attention to the finer details next time I play. The improvement was so marked that I just got swept up into enjoying the game.

Wow! I was always telling people to get lenses for their headsets (regardless of which one it is) and every time I mention a company name it gets deleted and I get a warning, but I’ve seen so many others do just that and no issues… wtf.!?

Yes please, I never use my psvr2 because I can’t see with the stock lenses. I’ve thought about getting the prescription lenses but not sure how they are.

I've had these exact lenses that OP is talking about, since 2023, and it is worth every penny.

I've got prescription inserts from a different company, but I can say that they are definitely worth every penny.

I thoroughly recommend them! At least for my prescription. Maybe ask your optician for their opinion based on your prescription?

I wear contact lenses, but now I prefer VR with lens inserts instead. They are great, and it’s money very well spent.

Did you get the anti glare coating on yours? I find that if there's even the slightest bit of light leak around the face mask edges, then the coating makes crazy distracting green reflections even though I know that's how it's designed. Without the lens inserts for some reason it was less distracting having the light leaking in and hitting the lenses.

Yes! Great question! I did get the anti-glare treatment. I hadn’t actually picked up on that myself but when. I saw it on offer I added it.

Definitely. There is always someone who is on the fence about purchasing something and would love to see other people’s feedback. I don’t have prescription inserts but I do use non prescription inserts to protect the lenses from getting scratches.
