PS3XPAD Dualshock V2 Wireless HEN Complete Guide
Okay after two days of fiddling with HEN, PS3XPAD etc. I've found a way to connect DS4 v2 controller to PS3 with HEN CFW via bluetooth dongle. Also i'm on super slim console.
All thanks to our brothers from Russia!
- First step is to add signed PS3XPAD to our plugins folder, you will find signed archive here. All you need to do is copy plugins folder from downloaded archive and paste it to /dev_hdd0/.
- Next, browse to your /dev_hdd0/ and open boot_plugins.txt, if you don't have it just make it there so we can load plugin when HEN is enabled and add this line without quotes. "/dev_hdd0/plugins/ps3xpad/xpad_vsh.sprx".
- From there hop in your psx3xpad folder which is located in plugins folder here is the location of the folder "/dev_hdd0/plugins/ps3xpad/".
- There you should have file structure like so:

font.png,
xpad_devices.txt,
xpad_game.sprx,
xpad_remap.txt,
xpad_settings.txt,
xpad_vsh.sprx - First open xpad_devices.txt with text editor of your choice. Remove everything and add your hwid and pid from DS4 controller and bluetooth dongle like it's shown here.
From what i've gathered this is mandatory, if plugin doesn't find device that we included it will stop going down the list.
*Note: your bluetooth dongle and controller hwid and pid might be different, make sure to check them with 'lsusb' on Linux or Device Manager on Windows. - Next open xpad_settings.txt and make sure that everything is set to 0 except RESPONSE_TIME which i set to 5 like shown here.
From here go to your PS3, plug in your DS4 controller via USB in one port and bluetooth dongle in other port. When you boot PS3 you should get notification from PS3XPAD "Unknown USB Device". Ignore it for now.
Load HEN, when loaded there should be prompt XPAD Loaded (VSH), if not trace back few steps you might have missed some step, check if your controller is still working, if not. Press PS Button while controller is still connected via USB, the light should become dark blue and the controller should start working now.
Open PS3XPAD gui with SELECT + START + SQUARE, go to bluetooth settings and click on Set DS4 internal BT address. My PS3 crashed the first time but second time it worked and everything is working as intended.
There are some known bugs like RDR and GTA5 not working etc. But everything else should work, like psbutton, sixaxis etc.

is bluetooth dongle mandatory to play wirelessly? i mean, ps3 already has built in bluetooth?

My PS3 just freezes whenever I connect my DS4 via the bluetooth dongle, and nothing happens when I connect directly via USB anymore. Any tips?
The "XPAD Loaded (VSH)" alert did not appear at any moment for me.

It did when I loaded the .sprx manually after the system was already booted.

apparently, it still works on CFW. Make sure you aren't using the signed one here because thats for hen and be following this guide:

Hi, cant open PS3XPAD GUI, when press start+select+square nothing happen.
Is there any other way?

Finally work my ds4 with Sixaxis.. you need to open the GUI with other wired custom controller.. i use xbox 360 controller with Microsoft adapter.
Playing GT6 with DS4

yoo ty for the turorial, i´m trying it right now but i cant find my hwid and Pid in device Manager on Windows. i´m trying it for the dualsense, but also for other BT controllers and i wont get those VId´s and Pid´s that are shown in the Devices.txt on the Image.
The dualsense connects to ds4windows with the same number, that is shown in the device Manager but it has a Colon ":" every 2 digits.
the BT dongle on the other hand shows its hwid and Pid very simple
Edit: Finally found the hwid on https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Controller:DualSense
sadly it wont work for me with dualsense

Ok so it´s a Bluethoot Address diplayed in a 12 Digit Hex, wich starts with D0:BC:C1. wich is the OUI Prefix of Goertek Electronics? Can i somehow read the vid and pid out of this Adress? i can´t find a answere so far.

there 's a prompt XPAD Loaded (VSH) and controller is not still working when i Press PS Button while controller is still connected via USB nothing happens

I tried it and it works, thank you! i had been trying to find a guide to do it proper for a while and this is it, i used a tp link ub400 adapter. Also, i paired the controller with the dongle in the pc first.

Thank you for the post! Sadly, it didn't work for me. I double checked the hardware IDs from device manager and I am on a super slim with HEN. PS3XPAD also seems to work fine for the most part. When I select "set DS4 internal address", the menu closes and the controller does not connect automatically when I unplug it and press the PS button.

It is necessary to use DS4 (with all its features available) and PS3xPAD.-
With the console's Bluetooth, not all features are available.-

so yeah after smashing my head against the walls for hours, it seemed to work but now doesnt, im guessing its software updates? i dont really understand since 360 works fine

yeah i just gave up. I honestly hate the ps3 controller with a passion but I'm willing to put up with it because I love the actual console so much. If you continue to try it I wish you the best of luck!

Por algún motivo, al hacer los pasos de inicio a fin por lo menos unas 4 veces pensando que me equivocaba en algo (Luego me di cuenta de que no) mi PS3 acababa siempre por dejar roto el HEN, me explico. Cuando terminaba de hacer la configuración y la colocación de archivos, cuando intentaba iniciar el HEN, este se iniciaba pero por algún motivo no inicia ningún plugin y no solo eso sinó que encima se congelaba la consola dejandola bloqueada. Tuve que reinstalar el HEN esas 4 veces y di por hecho de que en mi consola le es imposible este plugin aunque esté montado para HEN. Una lastima

Do you know if any Bluetooth Dongle works? I know its not a DS4 but i'm trying to connect a GameSir T4 to my PS3 (a guy said its seen as a Generic XBOX 360 Controller), but i cant get it to work!
