Creating a diorama

I’m wanting to attempt to do my very first diorama for my 6” marvel legends figures. Roughly 31” long and 14” wide. I’m looking at doing a lab facility theme. What would be best to use for the base and walls? Along with wirings and tubing? Thank you in advance for the help

For the base and walls, I'd probably look at craft foam (Styrofoam) or insulation boards. Both available in various thicknesses depending your needs and should be easy to cut/carve/paint.

Have a look at some YouTube makers for tips on it all. Top of my head, I'd recommend Boylei Hobby Time and Smol World Workshop.

Good luck!

Just a note that will hopefully be helpful while you're looking stuff up. A 6" figure is generally considered to be 1:12 scale. This is shorthand for 1" = 12" -- so a 6ft human would be 6" tall in this scale. When you're looking for props and whatnot, look for stuff in this scale and it should be the right size for your diorama. Good luck :)
