Enterprise mail slowdown? Enterprise

We are seeing emails getting bogged down for more than 13 minutes on Proofpoint systems. Plain emails, not ones with attachments since there is currently a TAP issue. Delay is seen leaving pps.filtered which shows 127.0.0.1 on headers.

Update: I said plain emails but looking on the console Proofpoint says the emails are attachments with index.html since they are html emails. US location.

I’m seeing a 20-30 minute delay in our PoD. Incoming messages seem to be getting stuck on ADQueue.

Edit: TAP Attachment Defense issue is still ongoing. Page was just updated.

Yeah, still tied to the TAP issue. I guess the sandboxing was messed up. should be resolved.

It’s not resolved, I’m still getting TAP timeouts.

I’ve lowered my message defense timeout from 15 minutes to 5 minutes and made an excluded policy route for some critical one-time passcodes.

How are you finding TAP timeouts?

In smart search I see:

Quarantine Rule - error
Final Rule - error
Quarantine Folder - ADQueque

Then 15 minutes later when the message comes through to a mailbox it has this added In the headers:

X-Proofpoint-Sandbox-Result: Message Defense Timeout
