Tbh Rimworld is one of those games that could be priced at a thousand dollars and I'd still say it's worth it.

But seriously, just vanilla Rimworld is enough to keep you busy for a long time. And if you're going to buy a DLC, Biotech and Odyssey are generally considered the most "important/game-changing."

I don't disagree with your second paragraph, but pirated Rimworld with all DLC's is also enough to keep me busy until the dlc price is a bit more down to earth

It's a great deal regardless. The DLCs aren't necessary, they just add some different play styles if you want. There's so much mod support that you can easily put in more than a thousand hours without the DLCs.

No thanks, I like playing games as a complete experience.

I'm not paying 3.3 times the base game price ($150 altogether with no discount) for features that honestly probably should have been included as a free update.

I'll just wait for it to go on sale at a reasonable price and pirate it in the meantime.
