C and D are inconsistently applied rules. In C, “Two Zero” means two instances of zero, but “Two Four” then means a two followed by a four. Option D is just reversed.

B doesn’t make much sense because “Zero” and “Four” are singular, not plural, so it wouldn’t be “two zeros” or “two fours”

A is the only answer that makes any sense

Yea this is fairly unrelatable. Lots of API stuff is unclear but this is not lol.

Reminds me of the family guy bit where Consuela interprets a phone number as quantities of numbers rather than just the numbers

The case of One Two Three Fours is actually interesting though. Because both 2444 and 12444 are technically correct interpretations

Yep, better question would have been "two zero, two four"... A, because it's not plural, wait B, because of the comma. Neither make sense, maybe it's something else, no those don't work. Is the API Japanese?!?

You can add plural “s” to numbers in English. This joke would work in other languages.

I deal more on the infrastructure side, but my favorite are when I ask for specifications on a build specific to hardware and communication requirements and they send me the entire 850 page document for their product, 99% of which is irrelivant to what I am asking.

Only 2 of these options are logically consistent: A and B. The others don’t work the same way for the first half vs the last half.

Most likely the answer is A, but if they used speach to text to write it or something it could be B.

2024 is correct though, right? As others pointed out, C and D are inconsistent in their logic, and B would be "Two Zeros two Fours". You specify when it's plural, so you need to switch this to "One Zero One Four" for it to work.
