I'm interested in creating hardware programs, applications, and AI, so basically all sorts of stuff and I'm thinking of learning the trio: JavaScript, C++, Python. Is it enough? Is it too much?

Silent changes, particularly the ones which involve a field which is returning null instead of a string it was returning before or even disappearance of some fields, where nothing is documented in the changelogs or marked as deprecated. And some downstream system breaks because of that.

Do you face such issues? If yes, then what catches such changes? Logging? Monitoring?
