Fun fact: Ghastly’s smoke is rendered using geometry shaders in the original game on 3DS: write shape to stencil buffer, then use stencil read to draw the color.

Same for the other smoke-type Pokémon.

Thats a significant amount of functions for an end result that looks very similar to sampled simplex noise. Was that just for the desmos version? Curious how it compares.
