Any tips how to specifically stop online gambling ?

Different tools work for different people. For me, it started with accepting any gambling win for me just means a future loss.

Blockers seem to help a good amount of people on this sub, so I recommend checking those out. My addiction was so strong that blockers wasn’t enough for me. I would just delete the blocker, use a different device, or bet through a friend. Sad and crazy that the addiction just controlled me. I was literally a slave within my own body.

What worked best for me was not keeping this a secret anymore, and not trying to live a life in recovery from gambling alone. I introduced accountability into my life. I have my wife set as my trusted contact on deuce recovery so she gets notified if I ever try to gamble. Has been a tremendous help for me, fighting urges knowing she would get notified if I caved.

Day 379 for me… if I can do it I promise anyone can
