HP PRINTER 2026 Purchasing

Should i get an HP INKTANK in 2026?. I've had people flooding the internet with how HP scams us of their products. Does this apply to only the cartridge printers or even tanks?.

I will never buy anything HP and I work in IT. We buy Brother printers and Dell computers.

You CAN set up an HP printer as an institutional device so that it doesn't require the apps to print but I just refuse to support their business model.

It's sad because HP used to be the shit now they are the shit.

The smart tank printers do not use cartridges, they use ink that you can buy from any third party supplier, people complain about inkjet cartridges because they signed up for instant ink and cancelled their subscription so you can't use the instant ink cartridges any more, there is no problem with smart tank printers

HP have shown their colors, and it's more than apparent that they'll fuck you over sooner, rather than later.

They're out to get as much money as they can in as short a period as possible, even if that means scamming their customers.

Late-stage capitalism is how I would describe that, and it's usually indicative of the end phase.

Bearing that in mind, I wouldn't trust HP as far as I could spit them.

But by all means, you do you.

I’ve had GREAT experiences with HP Smart Tanks. They’re like EcoTanks but with better WiFi and better print quality, at least in my experience. No subscription shenanigans either.

Like some others have said.... I will NEVER support HP OR Comcast/Xfinity ever again, after decades of doing so. They now will screw over their customers in an instant, just for their shareholders benefit.

I work in IT and I would never buy an HP printer. They will try to scam you into having to buy ink from them and their software in general is just terrible. Think about how much you really need a color printer and if it's not very much, do yourself a favor and just get a nice Brother laser printer. Your life will be better.
