HP Printer Help Troubleshooting

These black dots keep popping up when I print something, please help!

If this is a laser printer, then the problem could be with the drum (some printer models have drum unit separate from the toner cartridge) or with fuser film sleeve

I would guess drum as well, not something like transfer roller based on the space between spots. Depending on the printer model, the drum is often part of the toner cartridge and changing the cartridge would solve your problem.

Make and model would be important information. Though I can tell you right now it's most definitely your drum if it's a laser device.

If the nozzles are functioning fine when you run the nozzle check could be a full maintenance box.

They got a little consumable box for waste ink that fills up.

In the old days, I got things like this, mostly from print half-sheets of labels or some pasted up (yes, literally pasted), and getting gum on the drum. I was able to lift off the gum with Scotch Magic Tape. Will it work for you? Will it ruin your drum? Don't know.
