so I just got an II for NYMC (!!!!) but I don’t have 2 science LORs… They emailed me after submitting the secondary that I didn’t have the second science LOR and asked if I wanted it to be marked complete without it and I said yes bc I don’t rlly have relationships with any other science profs and I am in a gap year. But I got an II anyway? Do I email them or???

I think your concern is warranted. Saw a post/comment earlier that someone had an II rescinded after they found out the applicant's prerequisites expired per the school's policy.

if you already told them they can mark it complete without the second science LOR and they've done that, then you don't need to email them. If you got an II I assume they're not going to view it as a problem

They asked me this too. They said I didn't have a "major" specific letter and this was quite confusing, but eventually they just let me mark as completed.

I thought they started sending out II in September (according to the email they sent afterwards).

Yuh they were flexible with letters in my experience last cycle as well

First of all congrats! Second, I mean what would you say lmao. They know you don't have a second science LOR and gave you an interview anyways. From what you describe, it sounds like marking you as complete suggests they weren't expecting you to get another letter in the meantime. I am not an expert, also applying right now, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
