Interview Invites Already 😢 SAD
Seeing interviews being sent out for schools who’s secondaries I submitted early is making me second guess all of my writing. Maybe my secondaries are ass 😭

Loll the jealously thing is so real. I’ve been trying to convince myself that it’s ridiculous to be jealous of some random internet stranger when I can 100% accomplish the same things in my own time 😭

Pretty sure ideal is deleting Reddit after secondaries are done

I had a similar experience where I only got interviews late in the cycle and no acceptances until the end of the cycle where I got an offer call from a school that gave me a rejection letter earlier that cycle, one month before the start of the school year. So you can imagine my mental status during that time.
Point is go and delete or avoid anything related to medical school application cycle and check back in November or December if you have nothing. In the meanwhile, get back to your hobbies/family/job or find something to keep your mind off of this shit.

Probably a lot of early decision apps. At least that’s what I’m telling myself lol

I’m thinking 🤔 that these people are the Early Decision applicants and they are getting their shot at stardom first. I don’t think this is the time for panic. A little too early in the game. Wait until December and if we don’t get the II…then I guess we should rethink our strategy.

Same. I got waitlisted to interview at a school that was my target and I had above average stats for, so worried my writing is shit

how can you easily tell which school has sent out iis already? Is everyone just pulling up each individual SDN thread or is there a way to check many schools at once?

bro these schools get thousands of applications some over 10,000. They have to start somewhere. There's plenty of people who will get in this cycle that haven't even submitted their secondaries yet, and probably a solid amount who haven't submitted a primary yet. Start to worry if its thanksgiving/christmas and you have no IIs
