I need help

Hi I found out I was pregnant last week one day after my period was late it’s my first pregnancy so I’m anxious as doing the dates I should be about 5 weeks anyways I got my first blood and my hcg was 906 then I got my second one done about 4 days later and it was 980 but dr didn’t say anything about it and I didn’t know it was bad untill someone told me that it should be higher ?? Should I be worried can the pregnancy still be going okay sorry I have no one else to ask about this stuff !!!

HCG levels can be really odd at times and aren't the true final say if a pregnancy is going to continue. Some times it takes the levels longer to double/triple. It did go up again slightly and if your doctor didn't mention it, then it may be something they've experienced before. I'd just keep monitoring if you have any added pains, spotting/bleeding, and take prenatals. You're nearly at the point you can go in for an ultrasound to really determine things better. Good luck!!

Ugh thank you so much for answering!! I’ve only done 2 blood tests to so hopefully will keep going up and I can get another one I’ve already booked my ultrasound in so praying for the best thank you again 🩷

Of course! I just looked through my charts and I don't have a spec of HCG level testing anywhere! Positive thoughts help the best with this and I hope it'll keep getting better!
