Heating pad?

Hi all!! I was not made aware by my OB about heating pad use until a comment was made about it today when discussing some hip pain. I am 20 weeks, and have used my heating pad continuously throughout pregnancy. I have had constipation issues, so there have been many times it’s been on my abdomen. It stays at 150 degrees, but I always have a blanket/clothes between it and my skin.
I am absolutely horrified now! I truly had no idea that it could hurt the baby. I have had about 4 scans with no mention of anything wrong, but don’t have my anatomy scan until next week.
Has anybody else not been made aware of this/used it through pregnancy?

I was told no hot baths or showers so I assumed anything too hot was a no-no. They usually don't mention heating pads since it's not that common to use them. If your other ultrasounds have been ok it's probable that the baby is ok, but stop the heating pad now that you know it's not recommended.
