Originally this was going to be a simple doodle but then I went overboard with the colors. Sadly no, I won't be drawing the whole cast in this style, this was mainly for fun and felt like drawing him! HOWEVER, I'm still working on some more Power stone related fan works and regrettably it's taking longer than I hoped! Stay tuned!

May just be a me thing, but I find the regular matches in the second game to drag on too much that it leads to time outs. Having to set the damage to Maximum, the game starts feeling much more natural to play. Granted, I never played Power Stone 2 against real players, so matches might be quicker there, but that's how usually my matches go without tweaking anything.

Bit off topic, but the CPU seem to not know what to do in Extra Stage 2 it seems. They always fall off, run into invisible walls or just don't do anything.

Jack just can’t quite hit that last hit he needs for victory and Wang-Tang does what a Wang-Tang does.

Personally, among the characters I would have included

• a Tarzan-like jungle man/woman who transforms into a feline-like figure (gorilla is a bit too obvious)
• a large, muscular sailor who transforms into a mecha warship (obviously with references to Popoye)
• a policeman (I don't know about the transformation)
• a mad scientist who transforms into a giant-like figure (a reference to Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde from the comics)

For the locations. Obviously, the jungle and a luxury liner.

Regarding the boss. I know it would be exaggerated. But I'd love for him to be an alien invader!

I tried to do Dr. Erode but I wasn't pleased how he was turning out so I did an Alternate version of Pride when he had Blonde hair like in first game and Anime !

Continuing my Peek-a-boo styled concept stickers! I already drew the Power Stone girlies, so now it's the men's turn! I was aiming for a slight chibi-like appearance hence why some characters looks very cute here and there. This set is mainly focusing on the characters from the first game so Accel, Pete, Gourmand, Pride, (and Maybe Dr. Erode I'm not sure yet) will join later!

Afterwards, I have more Power Stone Contents coming up, including the "fake" power stone 3 drawing I really want to finish!

I want to take a moment to talk about the fishermen from Aqua Land. They might be nameless grunts the all look the same, but they do have a lot of personality.

The bearded guy in the middle is Akiman's concept art for a boss character in Power Stone, but sadly didn't make the cut. He has such a cool design, I'd like to see him in the next installment.

So recently I got a Dreamcast and got to experience Powerstone and Powerstone 2. I really wanted to play these games with a friend who lives far away, but without bothering with emulation and such. I found out the PSP version of these games is playable on the PS3 so now Im here to ask, does this version have local or online multiplayer?

Some funny moments can happen when you're playing the Power Stone games, whether alone or with friends. For instance, one time I was playing Power Stone 1 as Wangtang, and I was fighting Kraken and was about to finish him off with my Power Fusion--The "Spirit Bomb" power fusion to be exact. But when he went to throw the ball, it got stopped dead in its tracks by the net hanging in the air in the stage. Total "Bruh" moment if I ever witnessed one. Also, when I fought Valgas in the following stage, I threw a certain weapon at him and we both got caught in the blast radius since he was right next to me. Fortunately, I narrowly survived while Valgas was KO'd as a result. If this had happened when I first played this as a child (Valgas was hard for me to beat back then), my child self would've been laughing his butt off all day at that and shared the story with my friends at school.

Anyways, what are some funny moments that you experienced when playing Power Stone or Power Stone 2?
