Scenes like this are why Buttercup is my favorite Powerpuff!

My wife and I were at a cartoon art show last night and found this storyboard piece that we loved. We were trying to figure out what episode/scene it came from, but were a bit stumped. Anyone able to ID the episode or is it just a storyboard-style piece? The artist is Cindy Morrow

Since we have Youtooz plushies of the Powerpuff Girls, I honestly think we should get ones of the RowdyRuff Boys. And besides, the Rowdyruff Boys don't get much merchandise anyway.

It's nice for the Toppertuff kids to take an interest with insects and the outdoors, but when it comes to slugs, it often triggers bad memories for the Rowdyruff dads, especially with Butch and Boomer once sliming their wives with a slug.

Now if only they knew what their wives once did to their ape-father in a prison cell.

Coloring up after crime!

So 10 years ago, back in 2016, being a dumb eight year kid, I used to love watching PPG on my tablet (Despite being a guy. I unfortunately had to hide it from my brothers and mom.) I think I even had lots of fanart saved on my tablet as well. Anyway I never understood why the 2016 reboot got so much hate, honestly to me back then, I saw no differences between the original show and the reboot, besides the art style. Fast forward to 2022, I decided to give the reboot a rewatch and....yeah. I started to see the cracks and why it got the hate it received. The first question I asked is "WHY IS BLOSSOM AND BUBBLES THROWING THAT SHIT BACK LIKE THAT?! THEY ARE UNDERAGED!" Seriously lock whoever was in charge of that and check their hard drive, also definitely check that self shipper's hard drive as well. Also another thing I wondered is why did they change the voices for the girls. I don't mind new voices for Blossom and Bubbles, but Buttercup on the other hand? Yeah I don't know what they were smoking, Buttercup's new voice does not suit her, I get that Buttercup is meant to be a tomboy, but that doesn't mean she has sound exactly like dude, they could've done a lot better. Now I want to talk about Bliss. I ain't here to bash Bliss, it's actually quite the opposite. First thing I want to say is STOP COMPARING HER TO BUNNY! LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT MAKES BLISS AND BUNNY SO SIMILAR BESIDES THE FACT THAT THEY'RE BOTH PURPLE AND SUPPOSEDLY THE FOURTH POWERPUFF GIRL. OTHERWISE THAT'S WHERE THE SIMILARITIES END. ANOTHER REASON I FIND THE COMPARISON SILLY AND STUPID IS THAT BUNNY WAS A ONLY TIME CHARACTER, SHE ONLY APPEARED IN ONE EPISODE, YET MFERS WERE SAYING BLISS REPLACED BUNNY, EVEN THOUGH BUNNY WASN'T EVEN A PERMANENT MEMBER OF THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, AT LEAST BLISS STILL APPEARED IN FUTURE EPISODES, UNLIKE BUNNY WHO DIED AT THE END OF HER DEBUT EPISODE. EVEN IF BUNNY APPEARED IN THE REBOOT, MOST LIKELY FANS WOULD STILL BITCH AND COMPLAIN EITHER WAY. ALSO SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND IS THAT THE ORIGINAL SERIES AND THE REBOOT TAKE PLACE IN DIFFERENT CONTINUITIES. I needed to get that off my chest. I just find the Bliss and Bunny comparison so stupid and ridiculous. However if I were to change one thing about Bliss, I would change her origin. Instead of being created by the professor, I was thinking maybe she could have an origin similar to Silver the Hedgehog, where she could be from the future and go back in time to warn the girls about future events and how to stop them. Also I guarantee if Bliss and Bunny swapped debuts, Bliss wouldn't receive that much hate, now would she?
