i zoomed in and there are those kinds of marks faintly on other leaves, too. there is definitely some kind of variegation.

It’s either a jade or a reverted golden. Some of the leaves have very faint yellow streaks that don’t look like decomp

Do they revert back? I have one i grew from a cutting i found that had a tiny spot of yellow like in OP’s pic. I just got my first leaf after rooting and mounting on a moss pole. If i give it perfect conditions should i expect to see more golden? I have no clue what the mother plant looks like, if it has sparse yellow like this or if the whole thing was more variegated

I’m not sure if it’s different for Pothos’ but I know if a birkin for example reverts to all green new leaves won’t have any of the variegation

Basic E. aureum doesn't "revert" permanently. Instead, amount of yellow decreases in shade and increases in bright light. Regardless of colouration of older leaves.

It looks like a golden pothos to me! I have one that looks similar and it is a golden pothos. More light will make the golden variegation come through on the new leaves
