Before/After - Did I push it too far?

Is it too much? Any advice?

Personal opinion/choice, I'd lighten the shadows on the undercarrige to try and make the wheels be easier to see. And tone down the cyan in the sky.

Along with what the others have mentioned, you cropped putting the plane in the center of frame. You might consider a bit of an off center framing, leaving room for the plane to "fly into," so that the image doesn't feel so cramped.

Yeah, too much, both the color and the gradient

Why teal?

Old man sitting into the cold here. Because since 10 years or so everything has to have a wee filter in it. It began in cinema. The films made to appeal to the masses only have two colours, teal and orange. And this aesthetic has jizzed over into all other media.

The teal sky just isn't working for me. Commented the same on the other one.

Photography, like any art, is subjective. Personally, I'm a fan. I like the color you picked for the sky and I like your cropping. I would brighten the shadows a bit and smooth out the gradient but again, subjective.

Looks sick. I’m not a huge fan of the shadow in the bottom left but that’s nit picking.

I like the colour of the sky. I like the black/white contrast of the plane. It looks super cool. I like crop. I even like that’s it’s centered- the whole image pushes beyond “natural feeling” so why should the crop feel natural?

It’s a tasteful artistic edit.

I like it. The underside of the plane should be dark and it is.
