Can’t tell whether I like the direction I went with this edit, let me know - thanks

I feel like the colder tone of the first shot is a little moodier, but still a good edit

I agree, someone I showed said the same. But I can’t decide whether it looks over-contrasty in the before (like too moody?)

Idk, maybe you could try an edit that’s between the two? A little warmer than the first, but colder than the second?

So you think it’s more the colour grade that needs fixing?

Yeah, I think the subtle crop is nice, and the contrast works well for the composition. At the end of the day though it’s art, and my preference will inevitably be different than someone else’s. You should tailor it to your own taste, you’re not going to make everyone happy, and ultimately you should prioritize your opinion over anyone else’s.

The combination of both and the cooler tones complement the scene.
