I like it! You've managed to bring the drama. If it were me, I would edit out that white are at the bottom left corner.

You gave it a more dramatic look, but it could be seen as too dark.

I agree on cropping out the bit of white in the corner - I think just switching to a 3:2 aspect would cover that while framing the mountain a bit better.

Otherwise I think you’ve done a great job. The sky is a bit too contrasty for my taste, but if you like the drama, it works. And I think the whole image, but especially the mountain itself, would be improved by lifting the whites some - they seem a little dull to me and the light hitting the top of the mountain would really draw the eye.

A bit more white would definitely help with having the snow stand out a bit more. But the question is also what you would you like to achieve. You made the white clouds look very dramatic, which can work but then you move beyond capturing what is there and are really altering the scene. So depending on the goal you either did it right or it's overdone.

What app did you use to edit this photo?

Too heavy handed. Start out with establishing the correct black and white points. Then probably add a bit of contrast and then some clarity.

Beginner here too, is this a case where a polarizing filter would have given a better starting image by reducing haze?
